Our story
A small family making the books our own kids would use.
Fourfold Learning Co. was started by a mom of four. The name points to two things: her four kids, and the four seasons the journals are built around.
Why we make these
We wanted books our own kids would pick up on their own. Calm, off-screen, and tied to whatever's happening right outside the window. Every page is meant to feel like something a kid would choose on a slow afternoon, not another worksheet.
The meaning behind “Fourfold”
It holds two things at once: the four kids who started it all, and the four seasons the journals follow. A whole year of learning, with a book for each part of it.
Four children, four seasons
There's a journal for each season, and each one has its own feel. Read across a year, they grow with a kid.
How we think about learning
Slow and hands-on. Kids notice more when they're looking closely at something small, a leaf, a story, a memory of their own, and then get the room to make something of it.
How each journal is made
Our small family team designs each journal, then we print to order. That keeps waste down and lets us improve the next edition as families tell us what works.
A note on what we don't do
We don't publish invented testimonials, awards or learning-outcome claims. Everything on this site is written by our family or clearly marked when it is still being finalised for launch.
